Farkhunda
Malikzada[1] (Persian:
فرخنده) was a 27-year-old Afghan woman who was lynchedby
a mob in Kabul on March 19, 2015.[2] She was murdered after allegedly
arguing with amullah who falsely accused her of burning the
Quran, the holy book of Islam. Police
investigations revealed that she had not burned anything.[3] Her death led to 49 arrests;[2]three
adult men received twenty year prison sentences, eight other adult males
received sixteen year sentences, a minor received a ten year sentence, and
eleven police officers received one year prison terms for failing to protect
Farkhunda.[4] Her murder and the subsequent protests
served to draw attention to women's rights in Afghanistan.

Background[edit]
Farkhunda
was an observant Muslim who wore a veil (hijab). At the time of
the attack, she had just finished a degree in religious
studies and was
preparing to take a teaching post.[5]Her
name means "auspicious" and "jubilation".[6]
The attack[edit]
In a still frame from a video
captured and widely disseminated on social media and in the news, a bloodied Farkhunda
appears to plead with her attackers before she is knocked down.
Farkhunda
had previously been arguing with a mullah named Zainuddin, in front of a mosque where she worked as a religious
teacher,[3] about his practice of selling charms
at the Shah-Do Shamshira Mosque, the Shrine of
the King of Two Swords,[7] a religious shrine in Kabul.[8] During this argument, Zainuddin
reportedly accused her of burning the
Quran. She responded
"I
am a Muslim, and Muslims do not burn the Quran!"[9]
According
to eyewitnesses, hundreds of angry civilians flocked to the mosque upon
overhearing the mullah's accusation. They dragged out Farkhunda and started to
beat her.[5]She
was thrown from a roof, run over by a car, and beaten with sticks and stones
outside the mosque. The mob then set her body alight and dumped it in the Kabul River while police allegedly looked on.[8][10] Farkhunda's parents said the killing
was instigated by the mullah with whom Farkhunda had been talking, who,
according to Tolo News,
began loudly accusing her of burning the Quran "in order to save his job
and life."[11] An eyewitness said that the mob was
chanting anti-American and anti-democratic slogans while beating Farkhunda.[12]
Reactions[edit]
Public reaction in Afghanistan[edit]
A
number of prominent public officials turned to Facebook immediately after the
death to endorse the murder. The official spokesman for the Kabul police Hashmat Stanekzai, for
instance, wrote that Farkhunda “thought, like several other unbelievers, that
this kind of action and insult will get them U.S.

it was revealed that she did not burn the Quran, the public reaction in Afghanistanturned
to shock and anger. Hundreds of protesters took to the streets of Kabul Afghanistan

On
March 23, hundreds of women protested the attack, demanding that the government
prosecute those responsible for Farkhunda's death.[8] The protest was organized by Solidarity Party of Afghanistan and residents of Kabul Afghanistan Kabul
Official response in Afghanistan[edit]
Afghan president Ashraf Ghani ordered an investigation into the
incident and, in a statement released by his office, condemned the "act of
extreme violence".[18] He described the killing as
"heinous".[11] He also said that Farkhunda's death
revealed that Afghanistan
Nine
men who were seen in the video of Farkhunda's murder on social media were subsequently detained.[20] The Interior Ministry later reported
that 28 people were arrested and 13 police officers suspended as part of
investigations. Hashmat Stanikzai, a cleric who publicly endorsed the murder,
was sacked over comments that he made on social media supporting Farkhunda's
killers.[5]
The
Afghanistan Ministry of Hajj and Religious
Affairs announced that
it found no evidence that Farkhunda had burned the Quran.[11]
International reaction[edit]
The European Union condemned the attack. A spokeswoman
for European Union foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini said in a statement
that "[t]he killing of Ms Farkhunda... is a tragic reminder of dangers
women face from false accusations and the lack of justice in Afghanistan."
She added, "We all hope that [those] responsible can be brought to
justice."[5]The United States also condemned the murder, with a
statement from its embassy in Kabul

In Afghanistan[edit]
The
day after the murder, certain imams and mullahs endorsed the killing during
Friday prayer services in their mosques. One of them, the influential Maulavi
Ayaz Niazi of the Wazir Akbar Khan mosque, warned the government that any
attempt to arrest the men who had defended the Quran would lead to an uprising.[13][24]
After
it was revealed she did not burn the Quran, senior Islamic scholars inAfghanistan expressed outrage over the incident.
Ahmad Ali Jebreili, a member of Afghanistan's Ulama Council set for administering Islamic law,
condemned the attack, accusing it of contraveningIslam.[18] Haji Noor Ahmad, a local cleric, said
"People come and execute a person arbitrarily; this is totally prohibited
and unlawful. However, some justified her killing and were met with public
anger."[25]
Abroad[edit]
Abu Ammaar Yasir Qadhi, a prominent,
conservative, Islamic scholar, expressed horror on his Facebook page and said "A sign of how
truly civilized a nation is, is how it treats its women. May Allah restore the
honor and respect that women deserve in our societies!"[26]

Rasaw of the International Policy Digest blamed intolerance among Afghans andMuslims for the killing of Farkhunda.[27]
Funeral[edit]
On
March 22, a number of women, dressed in black, carried Farkhunda's coffin from
an ambulance to a prayer ground and then to a graveyard. This was a marked
departure from tradition, which holds that such funerals are typically only
attended by men.[12]
Criminal cases[edit]
Of
49 suspects tried in the case, four men were sentenced to death for their roles
in Farkhunda's murder. The sentences were handed down by Judge Safiullah
Mojadedi in Kabul
Three
suspects in the murder were still at large at the time of the May 5 sentencing,
according to Mojadedi.[30]
On
May 19, eleven police officers were sentenced to one year in prison for failing
to protect Farkhunda.[31]
On 2
July 2015, an appeals court overturned the death sentences for those convicted
in the mob killing. Three of those had their sentences reduced to 20 years in
jail, while the fourth was re-sentenced to 10 years prompting street protests
and a debate on women's rights.[32]

The most rational way to
inculcate love, justice and peace among all men and women in the world is to
jettison man-made doctrines and dogmas invented and patented by any and every
religious leader. The Creator did not need artificial compilations for any and
every creature he made. He is omnipotent as well as omniscient, so he embedded
all the rules each creature needed to serve him, live a good life and be in
good terms with all other creatures on his planets. The scriptures assert that
everything created was/is good!
Man has created nothing.
No angel or demon can create. No one can stop or change the destiny the Creator
has for each being living in this world. Man has only been uncovering the
secrets locked in the created universe and misappropriated the praise and
honour due to the creator. That is why whatever man has invented is misused

compensation demands, man has always paid with gradual or sudden death through

Check the history of
mankind from the creation story in scriptures of all religions and show me any
that had no religio-political undertone? Inter-religious harmony could have
been instituted centuries ago since all cultures had legends similar to the one
man, Enoch, who pleased the Creator so well, that he was translated to enjoy
eternal bliss in fellowship with the Supreme Being. There is no scripture in
the world that does not accept that there is only one Supreme Creator of all
that exists. The only difference is that some explain away polytheism as if God

We are all his sons and
daughters, though with varied facial differentiations, but, we have the same
anatomy and physiology with same blood chemistry, similar genetic
classifications and finally we mate and produce human babies alike! Laughter,
crying and singing are international languages. Anger, fear, hatred, depression
and sorrow are human emotions that have no boundaries. Conception, gestation
and birth are exactly the same as well as the modalities of dying due to
accidents, diseases or old age. What else does any intelligent being need to
prove that all humans are equal at birth, but differentiations arise due to
parentage, geographical locations, education and inherited or achieved social
statuses occasioned by opportunities each one experiences in both clement or

can live in peace. Let us eschew ethnocentric bias, religious bigotry, social

pristine truths from nature that were established by our Creator so that we can
arrive at the most objective version that is egalitarian and applicable in all
cultures, time and clime for world peace? Or, put in another fashion, how can
we be certain that the doctrines and dogmas we hold on to today were/are not
merely fake theories from the past? In short, how do we sift truth from
beliefs, myths, legends and/or fables forged and fabricated by sages of old;
demagogues whose objectives were merely manipulating the masses of their
generation into reverencing and/or obeying them sheepishly? This is the task
before all of us. It is the only way to arrive at ONE WORLD RELIGION.
Is it not cynical that
each nation had prayers said for its soldiers before each battle during the
world wars, crusades and jihads? WERE THEY PRAYING TO THE SAME GOD? Religion is
politics, but many uninformed adherents are hoodwinked into believing that
“God” is their President General. He was/is the supreme dictator and priests
and imams were only human administrators. In the current craze for wealth
engaged in by fake pastors, evangelists and overseers, exploitation in religion
wears different gowns; church/mosque levies, pilgrimages, compulsory offertory
collections, harvest and bazaars. To date, centuries after some colonised
nations have won pseudo-political independence; none is independent of religious
domination by their erstwhile religio-political masters. The wonder of it all
it that the above-underlined scenario is what has been happening and will
continue to happen in churches/mosques all over Africa “world without end!
Amen!” The congregation is short-changed by their wry religious leaders who
wine, dine and womanise while they go a-borrowing to take care of their
children’s health, education and other familial duties unaided by any one!

Creator so well, that he was translated to enjoy eternal bliss in fellowship
with the Supreme Being. There is no scripture in the world that does not accept
that there is only one Supreme Creator of all that exists. The only difference
is that some explain away polytheism as if God has an administrative structure
similar to our mundane ways of ruling ourselves. There are really no pagans in
this world! Replace their many gods and spirits with angels and prophets, you
will notice for the first time that you have the same result; One God, One
Created Universe and therefore One Human Family.
We are all his sons and daughters, with same blood
chemistry, similar genetical classifications, varied facial differentiations,
but, we have same anatomy and physiology and we mate and produce human babies
alike! Laughter, crying and singing are international languages. Anger, fear,
hatred, depression and sorrow are human emotions that have no boundaries.
Conception, gestation and birth are exactly the same as well modalities of
dying due to accidents, diseases or old age. What else does any intelligent being
need to prove that all humans are equal at birth, but differentiations arise
due to parentage, geographical locations, education and inherited or achieved
social statuses occasioned by opportunities each one experiences in both
clement or unfavourable internal and external environments? Interracial
squabbles are man-made! The non-partisan events we organise like the World Cups
and Beauty Pageants confirm we are children of one Father and so could live
amicably. Scientific discoveries and inventions all of us use passionately
prove that all mankind can live in peace. Let us eschew ethnocentric bias,
prejudice and parochialism. The multiplication of faiths, denominations and
churches are the handiwork of the evil one. Let us wake from centuries of
hypnotic enslavement and justify our claim to the appellation: HOMO SAPIENS

human that was taken up to be with the Creator lest he be corrupted by other

The whole world has been fed with the balderdash that the pandemic
HIV-AIDS has no cure! This is partially true for it is not purely a physical
ailment! Besides, there is now a subliminal politics of HIV discernable by only
a few wise men as was revealed to enlightened minds at the 2006 International
Conference at Canada
The former, who is undoubtedly the greatest financier of the programmes
aimed at finding worldwide solutions for the pandemic indicted the scientific
community for not providing an effective alternative to the palliative regimen
they are busy proliferating worldwide;
“While there is promising research to report, the world, in my view, has
not done nearly enough to discover these new tools,…All of us who care about
this issue should have focused more attention on these tools, funded more
research, and worked harder to overcome the obstacles that make it difficult to
run clinical trials. Now we need to make up for lost time.”

The other dimension to the shameful saga is that it is now being used as
a biological weapon to balance the population ratio of blacks to whites
worldwide! This ulterior motive was very evident in the falsehood some western
scientists propagated that the reason why blacks die despite taking their
retroviral drugs is because they do not adhere to the dosages prescribed. Bill
Clinton declared the findings of a research study he sponsored that debunked

have been found for most of them. The sciences of taxonomy, pharmacognosy,
pharmacokinetics, pharmacology and pharmacy have assisted humanity in finding
the right diagnosis, treatment and prevention of most diseases.If the international scientific community boldly
states; there is no cure for HIV or AIDS for now, and there is no drug
discovered to halt the spread of the virus, it boils down to the fact that the
disease is not from the physical environment and any discerning adult would
look elsewhere for its origin! Could
it be a mutant of an already existing virus?
Man is a composite being made up of body, mind and spirit! Only humans
communicate by speaking verbal languages that are intelligible to others. Human
beings can think or reason and/or discuss! Man can agree or disagree with
others in the same genus and family! Of all the other species in creation, only
men take decisions at both the individual level and at the group level, thus
they arrive at legislation; they make laws, impose rewards and sanctions. This
is how most communities; primitive, civilised, religious, military, political
and social arrive at constitutions, internationals conventions and human
rights. All these, other hominoids do not and can not! That is why zoologists
classified man as; Homo sapiens.
Our team affirms that the international scientific community has not
done enough to halt the HIV-AIDS pandemic, for I have discovered that there are
certain technologies that have been hidden from the entire human race regarding
superior therapeutics that can halt the dreaded pandemic. I invite you to

INTERFERON
TECHNOLOGY
Interferon is any of a group of antiviral proteins
produced by animals, including humans, in response to infection by viruses.
First recognised in chick embryo cells by British virologist Alick Isaacs and
his Swiss colleague Jean Lindenmann in 1957, interferons were found to block
further viral infection of body cells. The active antiviral substance is not
the interferons themselves, but proteins that interferons cause other cells to
produce. Some of these proteins have been identified, but their manner of
operation is not yet well understood. It is clear, however, that interferons
play a role in the body’s most important defences against viruses, and that
they help fight bacteria and other disease-causing agents.
Interferons may be grouped into three categories;
1. Alpha (leukocyte) interferons are made by white blood
cells,
2. Beta (fibroblast) interferons by skin cells, and
3. Gamma (immune) interferons by lymphocytes after
stimulation by antigens.
During the 1960s physicians attempted to use
interferons to treat virus-caused human diseases, especially colds, but the
therapy was determined impractical due to the enormous cost of obtaining minute
quantities of interferons from human white blood cells. Researchers then tried
to stimulate the body to make its own interferons with inducers such as
synthetic nucleic acids. These chemicals worked, but the body quickly became
tolerant of them, and they lost their effect. In 1980, however, interferons
were made available in sufficient quantities through genetic engineering
techniques, and trials testing dosage levels and side effects were begun the
following year. Thus far only some alpha interferons have been tested, but they
have shown promise against a host of viral diseases. The use of interferons
against such cancers as malignant melanoma and renal cell cancer has produced
mixed results. The side effects accompanying interferons can range from mild to
life-threatening. Beta and gamma interferons have not yet been tested in
quantity, but may prove more useful than alpha interferons.

Who knows the Creator well enough to declare that he has ‘a chosen people’? Where is the evidence that Moses actually led the so-called people out of any oppressive regime? The history books and modern encyclopaedia did not record the enslavement of the Jewish race except as ‘they were believed as revealed truths’.
The Creator has hidden so much from our intellectual faculties that to date we are still unravelling those He is allowing humanity to glimpse at through divine dreams, intuitions, inspirations and revelations to devout souls! Do you want to have supernatural knowledge mediated by spiritual faculties of seeing, feeling, sensing and caring for others? Look inwards, for the kingdom of God is inside you, not outside as many preachers tell you. No one ever got eternal bliss by keeping the commandments of men. It is given to altruistic seekers of that Divine Guidance in the affairs of mankind, which many yearn for but do not know where, when and how to find it. Search for it in this book!
The creator gave humans some of his powers and knowledge for recreating the material universe for the mutual benefits of all his created beings but today many use his gifts to perpetrate evil. Either by design or demonic manipulation, the obverse is the case; the first datum that every living thing recognises is that someone put it here and caters for its welfare. Dogs respect and fight in defence of their owners. Every pet realises that it is loved and taken care of by someone who has value for its existence. It is human who pride themselves of being rational beings that do not recognise, respect or realise that all of us have a single owner. It is absurd! Some believe there is an Almighty Creator who provides for each creature on daily basis, some assert that he has turned his back on us due to our congenital wickedness and cruel ways, while others simply deny his existence!
This is my summation of the problem; “Religion was/is a superstitious search by humanity for its origin, existence, meaning and relevance before the scientific era. The search was led by acclaimed sages among the elders of a community who defined its theories and practices. It is later ratified and recommended for legislation and implementation by state apparatus by convincing stratagem or coercion by politico-religious leaders. Thereafter, it is fine tuned and administered by ordained priests and priestesses who hand it down along ancestral lineages from one generation of lukewarm adherents, fanatics and mystics to another. Gradually, strong personalities emerge claiming divine appointment and so pull strong followers who idolise them as role models with supernatural powers. This obsession confirms them as beacons of adulation and finally leads to full scale idolatry.

Many people are mere conformists. They are those personalities that are satisfied with ‘going through the motions’; doing what everyone else is doing to make a living and waiting for the final ‘call to glory’ as they brand death! Many of us are born and live an inconsequential life; bland, uneventful and without anything particular to be remembered for after our exit from this mundane world, a temporal habitation for the soul. There are some others, whose lives and contributions to the society made a difference! They changed the ‘status quo’ by either extending the frontiers of knowledge or developing their immediate communities. They improved the understanding of human nature and taught others the values of humanitarianism. These heroes and heroines touched the lives of many both inter-racially and internationally.
They added colour to the doldrums of routine existence on planet earth!
A few had tall dreams and went ahead to transform them into reality despite all odds. This group devised methods of changing the deplorable situations and the deprived circumstances of the lifestyle they met on becoming adults. Some adolescents dream of the courage to better their social status, but often take off on the wrong foot of seeking for titles, money, fame and crowning it all with indulging in romantic relationships.
Others dared to pursue the unknown, to break new grounds and blaze trails for followers to tread on. Their zeal, inquisitiveness, passion, persistence, desire, motivations and prayers were fully rewarded if they paid the prize for success; optimism, dedication and the refusal to quit. Their philosophy of life was ‘When the task gets tough, the tough get it going!’, ‘Never say, never again!’ or ‘All that it takes to make the impossible possible is the power to remove the ‘im’ in front of the possible!’
They eventually became geniuses, inventors, explorers, leaders or discoverers! They evolved into the innovators and pioneers who helped to enlarge the frontiers of human civilisations and removed the age-old boundaries of the unknown. Joining this select group of animators or league of achievers is usually not by accident or by mere wishful thinking. Beyond desire and hard work is a divine factor that must be recognised, respected and appropriated in unveiling the unknown that the Divine Architect had hidden there for ages waiting for a brave soul to convert it from obscure dormancy to utilitarian vibrancy.
